BOONE - The NIACC men's basketball team dropped a 99-66 decision to No. 2 DMACC Wednesday night in an ICCAC contest.
DMACC (25-1 overall, 16-0 in the ICCAC) led 51-37 at the half and outscored the Trojans 48-29 in the second 20 minutes. Brent Taylor led the Bears with 17 points and Kaden Tate was next in line with 16 points.
Freshman TJ Cusciotta led the Trojans with 15 points. Kam'ron Solomon scored 11 points and RJ Mitchell scored 11 points for the Trojans (14-12, 6-10).
Mitchell led the Trojans with nine rebounds. NIACC's Cameron Reigard scored six points with eight rebounds and four assists.
NIACC's Bryson Robinson scored nine points with six rebounds.
NIACC returns to action Saturday at home against Central CC-Columbus (10-17, 4-13). Game time in the NIACC gym is slated for 3 p.m.
