IOWA FALLS - The NIACC men's basketball team dropped a 91-72 decision to No. 4 Ellsworth on Thursday in an ICCAC contest.
Ellsworth (18-2 overall, 9-2 in ICCAC) led 46-38 at the half and outscored the Trojans 45-34 in the second 20 minutes. The Panthers were led by Jayden Pretty with 21 points and Tanner Berggren scored 19 points.
NIACC (12-8, 5-6) was led by freshman TJ Cusciotta, the reigning ICCAC player of the week, with 19 points, six rebounds and two assists. Kam'ron Solomon scored 13 points and Jacob Martin scored 10 points.
RJ Mitchell led the Trojans with seven rebounds while Cameron Reigard collected six rebounds and Martin had six rebounds. Martin had two assists and two steals.
NIACC returns to action Saturday in an ICCAC contest at No. 16 Kirkwood (15-5, 7-4).
