Trojans fall to DCTC, 97-90
INVER GROVE, Minn. - The NIACC men's basketball team dropped a 97-90 decision to DCTC Tuesday night.
DCTC (3-2 overall) led 50-45 at the half and outscored the Trojans 47-45 in the second half.
Sophomore guard Jacob Martin led the Trojans with a career-high 29 points. Martin was 8 of 15 from the field and a perfect 12 of 12 from the free-throw line.
Martin also had six rebounds, five assists and two steals.
NIACC's Kam'ron Solomon scored 16 points and Bryson Robinson scored 15 points, The Trojans' Lance Helming recorded his second double/double of the season with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Sophomore guard Cameron Reigard led the Trojans with seven assists, which matched his career high.
NIACC (5-1 overall) returns to action Saturday at home against Marshalltown CC in a non-league contest. Game time in the NIACC gym is slated for 3 p.m.
