CEDAR RAPIDS - The NIACC men's basketball team dropped a 94-74 decision to Kirkwood Tuesday in the opening round of the NJCAA Region XI tournament.
Kirkwood led 44-31 at the half and outscored the Trojans 50-43 in the second 20 minutes.
Kirkwood was led by Corvon Seales with 20 points. Blessin Kimble added 18 points for the Eagles.
NIACC was led by McKelary Robertson with 30 points. Jordan Jones scored 14 points and Marshaun Carroll was also in double figures with 12 points.
