No. 11 NIACC men drop season opener, 75-64
FORT DODGE - The No. 11 NIACC men's basketball team dropped a 75-64 decision to Iowa Central Wednesday night in the season opener for both teams,
NIACC led 38-36 at the half but Iowa Central outscored the Trojans 39-26 in the second 20 minutes to claim the ICCAC victory.
Iowa Central was led by Uzo Dibiamaka with 16 points. PJ Njambi was next in line for the Tritons with 14 points.
NIACC was led by freshman Noah Rigatuso with 22 points. Sophomore McKelary Robertson was also in double figures for the Trojans with 10 points.
NIACC returns to action Saturday at home against DMACC. Game time in the NIACC gym is slated for 3 p.m.
