MASON CITY - The No. 15 DMACC men's basketball team topped No. 11 NIACC 87-63 on Saturday afternoon in an ICCAC contest in the NIACC gym/
DMACC (2-0 overall, 2-0 in ICCAC) led 49-29 at the half and outscored NIACC 38-34 in the second half.
Zach Hobbs led NIACC with 24 points. Christian Haffner scored 14 points and Mark Bradshaw scored 12 points for the Bears.
NIACC (0-2, 0-2) was led by sophomore McKelary Robertson with 16 points and Tysen Brennan scored nine points.
NIACC returns to action Wednesday at No. 1 Kirkwood.
