MARSHALLTOWN - The NIACC men's basketball team dropped a 75-66 decision to Marshalltown CC in an ICCAC contest Wednesday night.
Marshalltown CC (6-1 overall, 6-1 in the ICCAC)v led 45-27 at the half. NIACC outscored the Tigers 39-30 in the second 20 minutes.
Marshalltown CC was led by Di'Ablo Stewart with 23 points. Dave Roberts Jr. and Leonard Wilson both scored 14 points.
NIACC (0-7, 0-7) was led by freshman Tysen Brennan with 12 points and four rebounds. Sophomore McKelary Robertson scored 11 points with six assists, five rebounds and one steal.
Also for the Trojans, sophomoer Blake Graham scored 10 points with five rebounds and freshman Bradley Andrews scored nine points with seven rebounds.
NIACC returns to action Saturday at No. 2 DMACC. Game time is slated for 3 p.m. in Boone.
