NIACC women's golf team ranked 15th
MASON CITY - The NIACC women's golf team is ranked 15th in the NJCAA Division II poll released by scoreboard.clippd.com.
Shelton State CC is ranked No. 1 and Murray State College is ranked No. 2. Shelton State CC claimed the first-ever NJCAA Division II national title last spring in Boone.
DMACC is ranked ninth and Iowa Central is ranked 11th.
NIACC placed sixth at last year's inaugural NJCAA Division II national tournament. The Trojans return six sophomores from last year's squad, including all-American Meghan DeLong.
NIACC wrapped up its fall season on Sept. 29 with a fourth-place finish at the Waldorf University Fall Challenge in Lake Mills. Sophomore Addy Boell led the Trojans with an eighth-place finish in the individual medalist competition with a round of 84.
