Trojans set to compete at outdoor nationals
HOBBS, N.M. - The NIACC men's track and field team will compete in eight events at the NJCAA Division I outdoor championships beginning on Thursday.
Kahuan Harris will compete in two individual events for the Trojans (long jump and high jump). The long jump competition is set for 1:30 p.m. on Thursday and the high jump is slated for 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
Also competing in the long jump at nationals for the Trojans will be Aldaine Angus and Xavier Codling.
Also on Thursday for the Trojans, Colin Rasch and Dylan Hansen will compete in the hammer throw at 1 p.m. Gabe Hemsworth will compete in the 400-meter hurdles at 8:15 p.m.
Angus, Codling, Alex Marchand Fierro and Tyjah Bishop will run in the 4x100-meter relay at 7:45 p.m.
On Friday at nationals along with Harris in the high jump, the Trojans' Gavin Grunhovd will run in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 4:50 p.m.
On Saturday, the Trojans' Marshall Zeien will compete in the discus and Grunhovd will run in the 5,000-meter run at 4:55 p.m.
