NIACC men ranked 20th in latest poll
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's basketball team is ranked 20th in Tuesday's NJCAA Division II poll.
NIACC (12-4 overall, 3-2 in the ICCAC) was last ranked in the Jan. 19, 2021 poll when the Trojans were ranked 11th. The Trojans were ranked in 16 polls in the 2019-20 season.
NIACC has won four of its last five games, including an 83-81 victory over No. 18 Iowa Lakes on Jan. 12.
Also in this week's poll, Iowa Western is ranked seventh, Kirkwood is ranked 15th and Iowa Lakes is ranked 18th.
NIACC returns to action Thursday at Kirkwood in Cedar Rapids. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m.
