NIACC's Wiltshire sets 2 school records
BROOKINGS, S.D. - NIACC freshman Romanica Wiltshire set two school records last weekend at the South Dakota State Indoor Classic.
On Friday, Wiltshire broks the school mark in the 60-meter dash in the preliminaries in a time of 7.62 seconds. She broke her old school mark of 7.68, which she set on Jan. 17 at the Wartburg College Chelsey M Henkenius Invitational.
On Saturday, Wiltshire broke the school record in the 200-meter dash by placing third in a time of 25.51 seconds. Wiltshire broke her old school mark of 26.01 set on Feb. 7 at the Northwest Missouri State Bearcat Classic.
Also for the Trojans in the 60 prelims on Friday, freshman Addison Adam ran 8.04, which ranks fifth on the school's all-time list.
In the 400-meter dash, NIACC sophomore Suzanne Guedeyi placed 51st in a time of 1:01.78, which ranks fourth on the school's all-time indoor list.
