Trojans compete at national half-marathon
FORT DODGE - The NIACC men's cross country team competed in the NJCAA national half marathon championships on Tuesday.
NIACC placed 31st as a team wit 399 points. Iowa Western was the national champion with nine points, Iowa Western was second with 30 points and New Mexico Junior College was third with 36 points.
NIACC freshman Xander Graeser placed 175th in a time of 1 hour, 28 minutes, 40 seconds in the 13.1 mile race through the streets of Fort Dodge.
NIACC sophomore Lukas Vance was 176th also in 1:28.40 and freshman Alex Almelien was 177th also in 1:28.40.
NIACC's Nikolli Mosley was 194th in 1:36.07, Brian Nunez was 195th in 1:45.34 and Colby Essing was 196th in 1:46.50.
