Graeser places 20th at Indian Hills Invite
OTTUMWA - Freshman Xander Graeser placed 20th to lead the NIACC men's cross country team Friday at the Indian Hills Invitational.
Graeser covered the 8-kilometer course in a personal-best time of 27 minutes, 15 seconds.
NIACC placed seventh in the team standings with 178 points. DMACC was the men's team champion with 37 points and host Indian Hills was second with 74 points.
Also for the Trojans Friday, sophomore Lukas Vance placed 31st in a time of 28:13, freshman Alex Almelien was 46th (30:12), sophomore Kevin Carney was 51st (30:46), freshman Nikolli Mosley was 56th (32:08), freshman Colby Essing was 62nd (35:08) and frehman Brian Nunez was 64th (35:40).
NIACC returns to action on Oct. 24 at the NJCAA Region 11 Championships in Fort Dodge.
