MASON CITY - The NIACC men's and women's cross country teams will host the first Trent Smith Invitational on Oct. 13.

The women's 5-kilometer race will start at 4:30 p.m. on the NIACC campus. The men's 8K race will start at 5:15 p.m.

The entry fee is $100 per team.

NIACC is also looking to field men's and women's alumni teams for the race. Team captains are former NIACC standouts Anna (Buenneke) Lucs and Jacob Day.

The entry fee for a NIACC alumni runner is $10.
