NIACC volleyball team hosts Wartburg JV on Thursday
MASON CITY - The NIACC volleyball team hosts the Wartburg College Junior Varsity on Thursday in the NIACC gym.
Match time is set for 7 p.m.
NIACC (13-7 overall) split a pair of matches at its own tournament on Saturday. The Lady Trojans topped Marshalltown 3-1 and dropped a 3-1 decision to RCTC.
Sophomore Kaylee Whittington leads the Lady Trojans with 170 kills. Sophomore Meagan Miller is next in line with 162 kills and sophomore Aubury Coleman has 136 kills.
Sophomore Hailey Winter leads NIACC with 347 assists and sophomore Jackie Bleifus has 331 assists.
Sophomore Liv Block leads the way with 26 ace serves and 356 digs. Bleifus and Whittington both have 25 ace serves.
Freshman Brooke Greenwood leads the team with 54 blocks. Freshman Keely Heller has 41 blocks and Coleman has 40 blocks.
NIACC topped the Wartburg Junior Varsity 3-2 on Sept. 1 in Waverly.
