NIACC's Church, White to wrestle for third
COUNCIL BLUFFS - Two NIACC men's wrestlers will compete for third place at the NJCAA Division I national tournament Saturday.
NIACC's Isaac Church, who dropped a 141-pound semifinal match Saturday morning, topped Southeast's Ely Olberding 4-2 in his consolation semifinal match.
The Trojans' Cordell White continued his run through the 149-pound consolation bracket with a 6-4 win over Clackamas' Reggie Raiz in the consolation semifinals.
Church (17-3) faces Western Wyoming's River Wardle in the 141-pound third-place match.
White (14-4) takes on RCTC's Cohen Wiste in the 149-pound third-place match. Wiste pinned White in 6:31 in a third-round match on Friday.
