FORT DODGE - The NIACC men's basketball team dropped a 77-64 decision to Iowa Central in an ICCAC contest Saturday afternoon on the Iowa Central campus.
"We didn't come out with a lot of energy," NIACC coach Mark Mohl said. "They outrebounded us and they're smaller than us."
Matt Baker scored 16 points to lead the Trojans (15-12, 2-7) while Nick Wurm and Brad Rathjen scored 13 apiece. Darnell Taylor-Breck added nine and DeAndre Burnside had eight.
Iowa Central was led by Tray Croft with 33 points.
NIACC returns to action Wednesday at Ellsworth.
