No. 10 NIACC falls to No. 20 DMACC, 91-83

BOONE - The No. 10 NIACC women's basketball team dropped a 91-83 decision to No. 20 DMACC in an ICCAC contest Saturday afternoon.

DMACC (17-4 overall, 2-0 in the ICCAC) was led by Molly Mitchell with 32 points, 17 rebounds and four assists.

DMACC led 47-35 at the half and pushed its lead to 65-49 after three quarters.

NIACC (16-5, 3-2) outscored the Bears 34-20 in the final 10 minutes to close the final deficit to eight points.

NIACC returns to action Wednesday at home against Iowa Lakes in an ICCAC contest. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m. in the NIACC gym.
