MASON CITY - UU Longs scored a career-high 24 points and Taylor Laabs scored 21 points to lead the No. 9 NIACC women's basketball team to a 102-76 victory over Rock Valley College Friday night on the first day of the NIACC Thanksgiving Basketball Challenge.

NIACC' Khalilah Holloway scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Mikayla Homola scored nine points.

Longs led the Lady Trojans with four assists and Laabs led the way with six steals.

NIACC returns to action Saturday at 6 p.m. against Lake Region State College.

In other games Saturday, the Grand View University Junior Varsity faces Rock Valley at 2 p.m. and Iowa Western takes on St. Cloud Tech and Community College at 4 p.m.
