Iowa Central men double up NIACC 2-1

MASON CITY - The Iowa Central men's soccer team doubled up NIACC on Saturday at the NIACC pitch, coming away with a 2-1 ICCAC victory over the Trojans.

The Tritons scored just over three minutes into the opening half and kept the 1-0 lead until Andrew Vance pushed across Iowa Central's second goal with 35 minutes, 2 seconds left in the second half. NIACC cut the lead in half on Jack Doyle's goal with 26:20 remaining.

NIACC returns to action on Oct. 4 when the Trojans travel to St. Peter, Minn. to take on the Gustavus Adolphus Junior Varsity.
