NIACC men fall to Southeastern

WEST BURLINGTON - The NIACC men's basketball team dropped a 109-58 decision to Southeastern CC in a nonconference contest Wednesday night.

Southeastern, which led 52-31 at the half, was led by Patrick Jackson with 20 points. Kourtney Ware was next in line with 16 points for the Blackhawks.

NIACC (7-2) was led by sophomore Jaycob Payne with 15 points and five rebounds. Freshman Harrison Mills also reached double figures with 12 points.

NIACC returns to action Friday and Saturday at the Iowa Central Classic in Fort Dodge. The Trojans face Northeast CC at 3 p.m. on Friday and take on Central City CC-Columbus at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
