NIACC men play in Dale Howard Classic this weekend

IOWA FALLS - The NIACC men's basketball team faces Milwaukee Area Technical College at 4 p.m. on Friday in the Ellsworth gym in the annual Dale Howard Classic.

The Trojans face Harper College at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

NIACC leads the all-time series against Milwaukee Area Tech, 4-3. The Trojans won the last meeting in the 2013-14 season (96-82). The Trojans have won the last two games in the series.

This will be the first meeting between NIACC and Harper College in men's basketball.

NIACC topped Fort Scott CC 65-60 in its season opener Nov. 3 at the Konigsmark Klassic. The Trojans received 15 points from Jaycob Payne and 11 from Harrison Mills. Also for the Trojans, Mac Skogen scored eight points.

Nov. 4, NIACC topped Bay College 93-87 in overtime. Nick Wurm scored 28 points and Orrington Hamilton scored 14 points.
